This 28-week program is designed to take you from running a 5K to crossing the marathon finish line with strength, confidence, and zero guilt about slowing down when life gets busy. Whether you’re chasing a PR or just want to prove to yourself you can do it, this plan includes everything you need: progressive run workouts, strength training built for the postpartum body, pelvic floor and core support, and realistic scheduling that works for real moms. You don’t have to choose between performance and recovery—you can have both.

I was a collegiate runner and ultramarathoner before having kids. Running was my outlet—until it wasn’t. After my first baby, I laced up my shoes thinking I’d just go for a short run… but it felt like my organs were falling out. I was diagnosed with a prolapse and felt totally lost on how to rebuild.

Fast-forward through years of learning, rehabbing, and coaching other postpartum runners—I finished a sub-4-hour marathon at 9 months postpartum and still breastfeeding. And I didn’t wreck my pelvic floor to get there. This is the exact framework I followed—and now I’m sharing it with you.

24-Week Training Plan (3 x 8-week cycles, with deload weeks built in)
Structured Weekly Schedule:

  • 1 long run (progressive, up to 20–22 miles)

  • 1 tempo or interval workout

  • 2 easy/recovery runs

  • 2 strength training sessions (lower + upper)

  • 1 pelvic stability/pelvic floor workout

This program is delivered in the Teambuildr app as a list of exercises with short demo videos.  This is a self-paced workout program. 

The workouts are delivered as a list of exercises with demo videos, but you work out at your own pace.  This is a traditional workout delivery format.  You may find the first week or so of doing the program takes a little longer as you learn our exercises.  But once you are more familiar your workout length should decrease!

If you purchase the full program (or complete all payments in a payment plan), you maintain lifetime access of the course, including any updates we make to the programming!

This means you can use this program for as long as you need postpartum, and for future postpartums.

We do review if your account is active after about six months, so you may lose access temporarily due to inactivity.  But, we can always recreate your account!  If your account has been removed and you need it reset, email us at info@mamastefit.com.

We recommend starting this program after completing our return to running program or no earlier than 6 months postpartum.  You should be able to run at least 3 miles comfortably!
