Our Top 10 Gift Ideas for the Mothers in your life
Our Top 10 Gift Ideas for the Mothers in your life

Mamastefit's Mother's Day Gift Guide

Figuring out what to get someone on Mother’s day can be confusing and hard! We want to show them appreciation for all they do for us year round, but what do they actually NEED!

These are 10 Gifts that we, as moms, would not mind getting!

1. Keepsake Gift

Keepsake gifts signifying them as a mother, like jewelry or books! I have seen lots of cool picture books that people have made for their mothers online!

Did you know you could get jewelry made from items that are important to them like breastmilk, caps of pregnancy test, ashes, umbilical cord stumps?!?! There are a lot of different companies that do this but:

Milk Couture is our current favorite!

Keepsake gifts made out of special items can be really thoughtful gifts for mothers! Some like quilts made up of baby clothes, or photo books of their kids from the past year, or even jewelry.

Did you know you can get jewelry made from keepsake items like breastmilk, caps from pregnancy tests, hair, ashes, or even umbilical cord stumps!
Our favorite person right now who makes keepsake jewelry is Milk Couture
She is out of Nashville, and we just got some beautiful pieces from her!

2. Water Bottle!

Who doesn’t love a new water bottle! Many moms we know like to collect water bottles for all the various drinks we will have around! Our current favorite brands are Stanley & Simple Modern.

Mum Crew also has cute water bottles for mom AND kids that don’t spill!

3. Cozy Robe/Slippers

Something comfy to wear around the house to lounge! We both LOVE a goof comfy robe and slippers. These can also be a great pre-baby gift for someone to wear during labor or Postpartum! These are some of our favorite robes:

Cozy Earth has two robes, one is a SOFT bamboo breathable robe and the other is a bath robe that is super plush! (Use code MAMASTEFIT for 40% off)

Caden Lane has some cute matching robes with onesies!

Amazon has a long, plush robe that is a more afforable but still cozy robe!

Our favorite slippers are the the Ugg Scuffettes, i have tried others and these are my go to!

4. Ember Mug

This Ember Mug is my FAVORITE gift I bought myself for Christmas and one of our mother’s favorite gift! It keeps coffee or any warm beverage HOT! No need to keep reheating or drink cold coffee (unless its iced!)

You can make it into a coffee-themed basket with coffee beans, syrups, milk frother, and some collagen peptides!

If you are local to us in Southern Pines, NC a great place to get syrups is: The Local Mixer

My favorite milk frothers are from Amazon, one is just a hand held frother and mixer, the other is one that can make both hot foamed milk AND cold foam!

Our favorite Collagen is from Needed! Use code MAMASTEFIT for 20% off your first order

5. Purse from R. Riveter

R. Riveter is a military spouse & women owned business that was founded in our town! Their purses and bags are made by military spouses across the country to provide a stable job, which is hard to do when you are constantly moving with the military!

We personally own 4-5 bags of theirs each, as well as their wallet!

If you are a shark tank fan, they were on shark tank too!!

6. Bodily

You know we LOVE Bodily! Their bras and underwear are one of our go-tos for postpartum and pregnancy. These would go great in a gift bag for a mom who is currently pregnant!

My personal favorites would be their Everything Bra & All-in Panty. These even come in a set!

If they are having a c-section, the belly band would be a great addition for the gift!

7. Spa Day - in a spa or at home

Who doesn’t want a day of relaxation and pampering?!?!

Sending them to a local spa to either get a massage, a facial, or get their nails done can be SO thoughtful.

BUT

We know this is not feasible for everyone to be able to leave the house for this. An alternative would be a At-Home-Spa Basket! You can fill this with bath bombs, shower steamers, bath salts, at home facial kits (these kits from deux skin are SUPER cool), foot massager, or this cool red light therapy box for anti-aging/inflammation!

Another thing that they could use for their at home spa day is a Prana Mat, this has all the benefits of a massage in the comfort of your own home!!

8. Kizik Sneakers

Every mom could use some of the Hands-Free Sneakers! To get the kids out the door quickly or to not have to bend down while pregnant! These shoes are our favorite and what we wear 99% of the time!

They even have kids shoes so you and your kiddos can match!!

Use code MAMASTEFIT for a discount!

9. Hobby Based Item

Depending on what they enjoy doing in their free time! Not every mom will enjoy every thing on this list:

Book Reader: Kindle to be able to read books on the go, or an audible subscription to be able to “read”

Cooker: Some awesome new cookware or bakeware! Caraway is a great brand that has some cool stuff!

10. Alone Time

Honestly, some nice alone time in their freshly clean house would also be a GREAT and CHEAP way to let them enjoy their day! Take the kids out on an adventure while she gets to lounge at home by herself, and maybe even pair this with an at home spa kit!

Some will book them a night in a hotel room for them to get away and have some time for themselves, but  for me personally I would be more comfortable in my own home.
